The September 10, 2011 Military Family Day will begin at the Cabela's parking lot, 1600 Gateway Blvd. NE, off Interstate 5 at Exit 111. We will be celebrating our local Military personnel and their Families with FREE food (includes hot dogs, popcorn & sodas), fun activities and great Fun in the Cabela's parking lot.  Come on out and show your support.

Glacier Aviation is providing helicopter rides for $20 per person during the period of 12:15 pm to 2:00 pm.  Max two persons per ride. 

   The 2011 Military Family Day Co-Master of Ceremonies are Susan West and Keith Eldridge. 

      

Susan West was born and raised in Seattle, graduated from the University of Washington, and proudly comes from a military family. Her husband was in the Army and her father was an Air Force pilot who flew in the Korean War and Vietnam War.

Susan worked in TV news for about 20 years. Most recently she was a Reporter at Q13 Fox News. Prior to that, she anchored and reported for KOMO TV, Northwest Cable News, KVOS TV in Bellingham, and KVEW TV in the Tri-Cities. Susan just received her Master's degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and looks forward each year to participating in Military Family Day.


Keith Eldridge has been a reporter-anchor with KOMO 4 News since 1983 and handles the South Sound Newscenter. Keith is an Emmy award winner and a graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.He and his wife Jan have a son Alex and two adopted daughters from Russia, Tasha and Natalie.
